Verdict: Interesting times with new owners, manager, coaching staff and players. It is very difficult to predict how the months ahead will unfold but, hopefully, the impressive progress of Phil Parkinson can be continued and the club can repeat, if not better, last season’s play-off finish.

Key man: Romain Vincelot.

Advice to manager: Stay positive in the face of setbacks.

What will make or break your club’s season: Finding a goalscorer who works well with James Hanson.

What changes are needed off the field: Our new German owners stress they are taking a long-term approach, so we need to give them time to bed in their plans.

Which team would you like to most beat and why: After taking Parkinson from us we’d love to beat Bolton.

Promoted: MK Dons, Scunthorpe and Bolton.

Relegated: Oldham, Fleetwood, Bury and Shrewsbury.

Predicted finish: Ninth
