FT: Rotherham United 3 Bradford City 0

Rotherham United completed the double over their Yorkshire rivals after scoring three quickfire second-half goals.

Rotherham won the first meeting at Valley Parade and despite Phil Parkinson’s City going into the game in better form, it was Andy Scott’s Millers who celebrated a victory that moved them closer to the League Two play-off places.

After a quiet first half at the Don Valley Stadium, Rotherham took the lead through Lewis Grabban’s 14th goal of the season.

The striker scored his first in four games in the 63rd minute when he beat Bantams goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin from close range.

And Grabban got his second just five minutes later from the penalty spot to put the Millers in complete command.

McLaughlin was at fault as he hauled down Sam Wood to prompt the referee to point to the spot.

And with their third goal in 11 minutes Rotherham put the result beyond doubt as Brett Williams made it 3-0 on 74 minutes.
