Bradford had strong claims for a first-half penalty waved away after Devante Cole was bundled over by Tony Craig inside the box.

But after the break, Ben Williams was required to pull off a fine save to deny the home side’s Shaun Williams, keeping out the midfielder’s effort from the edge of the area.

Bradford stay 14th in the table, six points off the play-offs with a game in hand.

Bantams boss Phil Parkinson said: “They were two very competitive teams and I’m really pleased with the point. It sets us up for Tuesday (at home to Blackpool).

“All across the team I was very pleased. I just felt our final ball let us down at times.”
