Clarets culprit backed against Town
Tarkowski has been a solid performer for the Clarets since being asked to fill £25m Michael Keane’s shoes in defence and was rewarded with the captaincy against Leeds on Tuesday night. “He was down in the dressing room and felt as though he had let the lads down,” said Lowton.
“But people got around him and said he had shown the courage to step up and take a penalty. Since the start of the season, he has been fantastic and the lads just tried to tell him how good he’s been.

Since winning promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs Huddersfield have been compared to Burnley, in terms of commitment, cohesion and the ability to surpass modest expectations.
Both teams were among the favourites to go down at the start of the campaign but sit sixth and seventh, respectively, having taken eight points apiece from their first five outings.
