Darren Moore hails 'special' goal as Doncaster Rovers beat Lincoln City
The Imps were top of the League One table prior to kick off at the Keepmoat Stadium but Ben Whiteman's stunning first-half volley enough was to separate the sides in an entertaining contest in South Yorkshire.

Hide AdMoore had spoken of the need for his side to remain focused for 90 minutes against a side who were unbeaten in four games heading into the fixture.
He was more than happy with his side's application as they held out against a team who had only lost one league game in nine before kick off.
"It was one of the best because of the opposition that we played against, especially from a physical and mental point of view," said Moore.

Hide Ad"We had to keep our concentration for the whole game. In the second half they changed their shape so we had to change and adjust.
"It was a tactical game and both teams are very similar in their style of play.
"There wasn't much given away by both teams but I'm pleased we shaded it with a quality goal."

Hide AdLincoln had not conceded in their last four matches and Moore felt it would take "something special" to find a way past the Imps defence.
"I am really pleased because we knew it was going to be a tight game today," added Moore.
"I thought it was an excellent advert for League One football. Both teams played their part in a really good game.

Hide Ad"The goal that we scored was a great goal. It was a good move and it had to be something special because they possess a really strong defensive record.
"We knew we had to be really good and we came up with a good goal."
