Goals from Nathan Tyson, Dean Furman and Kyle Bennett saw Rovers beat managerless Yeovil Town at the Keepmoat.

Tyson fired home in the first half after Yeovil’s Artur Krysiak spilled Harry Forrester’s powerful drive.

Rovers were in full control for the majority of the first half against a Yeovil side happy to sit back and congest their own half.

Furman made it 2-0 after latching onto a cross from Curtis Main, on for the injured Forrester.

Yeovil’s Kieffer Moore had a shot cleared off the line, but Rovers grabbed a third goal with a brilliant breakaway 13 minutes from time.

Tyson took the ball from just outside his own area to the edge of Yeovil’s before drilling a low cross which Bennett touched past stranded Krysiak from 15 yards.

The goal sealed a victory which followed the 5-0 demolition of Crawley in midweek.

It could have been the same score on Saturday, but Krysiak made superb saves from Paul Keegan and Bennett.

Rovers chief Paul Dickov said: “After the disappointment of the Walsall game, the boys have shown a lot of character and quality.

“To score eight goals in four days and concede none is a big testament to them. I was worried that after winning 5-0, people could have got carried away.”
