Doncaster Rovers v Queens Park Rangers: Sullivan back in contention to face leaders

DONCASTER ROVERS’ horrific injury problems have finally started to ease ahead of today’s meeting with runaway leaders Queens Park Rangers.

Sean O’Driscoll has been without up to 14 key players in recent weeks, leaving the Rovers manager struggling at times to fill his bench.

One of the key absentees has been Neil Sullivan but the veteran goalkeeper has returned to training and could feature against Neil Warnock’s side at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Also available today after recovering from a knee problem is Jason Euell, while both Mark Wilson and Shelton Martis are in the squad despite being forced out of last weekend’s heartening goalless draw at Nottingham Forest by injury.

Less pleasing for the Rovers manager, however, is the confirmation that striker Billy Sharp will have a hernia operation on Tuesday.

For Rangers, the finishing line is in sight with today being the first of five consecutive games against struggling teams.
