“It’s a well-earned point because the lads worked their socks off and stuck at it, showing the work ethic that they have got,” he said.

Dover started the brighter with Liam Bellamy firing just wide followed by Duane Ofori-Acheampong hitting the side-netting.

Guiseley started to create chances with Liam Dickinson, the hero in the midweek derby victory over Halifax Town, missing the best.

A marvellous last-ditch tackle by Ryan Toulson followed to deny Dover’s Stefan Payne who looked set to break the deadlock.

Guiseley then showed their skill with Dickinson and Craddock linking well before the latter fired over the bar.

It should have been 1-0 to Dover but Payne’s free-kick was saved by Steve Drench, who then had no right to make a fantastic reaction stop to Miller’s effort.

The second half began with Dover creating further chances, but their best effort saw substitute Toby Ajala, whose fierce strike hit the underside of the bar.

The Lions’ best chance of the remaining 45 minutes fell to Adam Boyes, who delivered a powerful effort from long range which just went wide.

Late on Dover looked like grabbing a late winner, but Sean Raggett’s header hit the bar.

The sides had to settle for a point and a result which means Guiseley are now five games unbeaten in the National League.
