Ex-Sheffield United, Leeds United and QPR star lands managerial role with non-league outfit

Former Sheffield United and Leeds United goalkeeper Paddy Kenny has been appointed joint-manager of non-league outfit Goole.

Kenny will share managerial responsibilities at the ninth-tier outfit with former Armthorpe Welfare coach Nathan Heilliwell.

The move marks a return to coaching for Kenny, who had a stint working with goalkeepers at Northampton Town near the end of his playing career.

Kenny will bring a wealth of experience to Goole, having represented the likes of Sheffield United, Leeds and Queens Park Rangers during his playing career.

He was famously a trusted lieutenant of Neil Warnock, who he worked under at each of the aforementioned three clubs as well as at Rotherham United.
