Half term report: Leeds United

Paul Taylor, of Doncaster

It has been pretty much a perfect first half of the season, topped off with the FA Cup draw against Manchester United. We remind me a lot of Leicester City last season in that we rarely hit the heights but still very good at collecting points. The defence is so solid that even if we play badly I believe we will get a point. The manager deserves tremendous credit for the job he is doing. He seems to be a great man manager and I loved how he dealt with the Jermaine Beckford show of petulance against Southampton. No fuss was made but the player was put firmly in his place. And since then he has scored four goals in two games, great man management.

Are your team exceeding pre-season expectations or under-achieving? Definitely better than I thought we would.

Most disappointing player? Andy Robinson.

Best moment? The last 10 minutes at Walsall when we came from 1-0 down to win 2-1.

Worst moment? Losing at Millwall. Again.

Best side faced? Norwich City.

Worst side faced? Tranmere Rovers.

Is your manager doing a good job? Doing a great job.

What has gone right/wrong this season? We have a manager who has not only a Plan A, but B and C as well. The only downer has been not buying back Thorp Arch.

What activity is needed in the January transfer window? Maybe a bit of creativity in midfield.

Where will your team finish? Top two.
