Half term report: Sheffield United

Jim Blackburn, of Millhouses

When set against the turmoil across the city, I suppose we should look on the bright side. We are seventh in the table and could push on, however the natives are still restless. Why can't we have a team who get the ball on the floor and try to entertain? We are grimly functional, uninspiring and although the lads give everything, it cannot be classed as entertainment. Mr Blackwell may keep his job if we manage the play-offs but the fans yearn for a more expansive style of football.

Are your team exceeding pre-season expectations or under-achieving? Under achieving.

Hero? Jamie Ward. A livewire who gets under the skin of opposing defenders

Most disappointing player? Ched Evans looks lost and subsequently Henderson has been playing on his own for most of the season.

Best moment? Lewis Buxton's superb headed own goal to put us 3-0 up against Wednesday in the derby.

Worst moment? Watching Billy Sharp finish like we know he can – but in a Donny Rovers shirt

Best side faced? Leicester City, they played us off the park at the Lane.

Worst side faced? Watford, rolled over when we played them early in the season.

Is your manager doing a good job? I don't know what's going on behind the scenes but in a word...'NO'

What has gone right/wrong this season? We seem to have weathered a terrible injury crisis and there are some hopes we can get to the play-offs in an exceptionally mediocre division.

What activity is needed in the January transfer window? A quality replacement for the soon-to-depart Kilgallon. But his are big shoes to fill

Where will your team finish? 6th.
