Hull City: Tigers chief Bruce recruits from Old Trafford
STEVE BRUCE hopes to conclude a loan move for Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell before the window closes on Monday.
The Tigers have been in discussions with the Old Trafford club this week and an agreement is understood to have been thrashed out.
Powell moved to United for £4m as a teenager but has found opportunities hard to come by. He did come off the bench in the Champions League defeat at Wolfsburg in December - on the night when Louis van Gaal’s side were knocked out - but it is one of only two appearances the attacking midfielder has made.
United legend Bruce wants Powell to bolster his attacking options for the rest of the season.
