Sheffield Wednesday custodian Kieren Westwood and Rotherham United midfielder Paul Green are also in the 36-man party.

Meanwhile, Seamus Coleman and James McCarthy have been recalled to the squad after the pair missed last month’s 7-0 demolition of Gibraltar and creditable 1-1 draw in Germany with hamstring and thigh injuries respectively.

Stoke midfielder Glenn Whelan, who suffered a minor leg fracture during the clash in Gelsenkirchen and which was expected to sideline him for between four and six weeks, has also been named in the squad.

Hull have taken Chicago Fire’s Sean Johnson on a short-term trial as they seek cover in the goalkeeping department due to injuries to Allan McGregor and Steve Harper.

The USA international, named as Chicago’s MVP and Defensive Player of the Year for 2014, is due to link up with Hull today and will remain in England until November 9.

Johnson, who trained with Manchester United in December 2011, said: “Going to Hull City will be a fantastic training opportunity.

“Going over every year has proven great for me.
