Road closure warning to Hull fans

Hull City fans are being urged to plan their journey to the match on Saturday to take account of a road closure.

Spring Bank West will remain shut until December 31 to allow Network Rail to complete work to replace a railway bridge.

The closure means fans who normally drive to games at the KC Stadium may need to make alternative plans for the match against Fulham.

Signed diversion routes will be in place via Calvert Lane, Anlaby Road and Albert Avenue but fans are being urged to use other routes such as County Road North, Bricknell Avenue and Chanterlands Avenue.

Hull City Council has also suggested fans allow more time, use public transport and make use of the park and ride service.

It is also suggested that supporters park in the city centre and walk to the stadium.
