Hull City

Hull boss Liam Rosenior has said he will have a big say in regards to who they sign in the January transfer window. Speaking in the club’s Q&A this week, he said (via Hull Live): “I’ll have a big say in terms of who we bring into the football club. I’m conscious that we have a very big squad, but it’s a squad full of very good players. My job is to give these players a chance to do the best they can.

“We have to work to a budget and make sure we’re sustainable as a football club. I want to see the club thrive and grow, but we need to work within a budget and the rules.”

Rosenior has also heaped praise on Chelsea loan pair Harvey Vale and Xavier Simons (see tweet below), who will both be eyeing more game time after the World Cup break.

Huddersfield Town

New Huddersfield coach Kenny Miller has tipped Kian Harratt for a bright future in the game. The 20-year-old has been loaned out to Guiseley, Harrogate Town, Port Vale and Bradford City so far in his career. Miller has told the official club website: “It’s the first time I’ve seen him since I’ve been on the camp. He’s excellent and I think he’s got a big, big future in the game. Anything I can do to help him facilitate that, then obviously I’m happy to do. I’m here to help Mark coach the team, get us winning games.”
