Steve Bruce will ‘consider his future’ if Hull City board’s plans don’t match his own for promotion
Bruce, who has admitted that this summer has been his most difficult in management with Hull seeking to get a number of high-earners off the books before making concerted moves in the transfer market - will hold talks with owner Assem Allam on Thursday.
Bruce remains confident if he will be given the funds to push for promotion next season, but with the new season approaching, the north-easterner is keen for the club to push forward.

“If that’s the case then I’ll be perfectly happy.
“If not, then I’ll ask the question of exactly what they want to do.
“If I don’t think we have a chance of getting back up, I would consider my position.
“But I still believe when we have the meeting on Thursday, I will be given a chance to rebuild this side.
“We have three weeks and a lot can be done in three weeks.
“I’m confident this meeting on Thursday will be beneficial to everyone.”
