Leeds teenager Elliott agrees to Millers move

LEEDS United striker Tom Elliott has joined League Two side Rotherham United on loan.

The 19-year-old, who spent time on loan at Bury last season, will remain with the Millers until January 3.

Elliott will be looking to gain some valuable first-team experience with Leeds's Yorkshire rivals as he has yet to feature under manager Simon Grayson.

Former Millers defender Mark Lynch – released by Ronnie Moore at the end of last season – has joined Stockport County.

Brighton defender Jim McNulty has joined Scunthorpe United on a six-month loan deal.

The left-back's stay with the club lasts until January 3 and he becomes United's fifth signing of the summer.

McNulty, 25, had a brief spell on loan at Glanford Park towards the end of last season.

Thierry Henry has confirmed his retirement from international football with France after completing his move from Barcelona to the New York Red Bulls. The 32-year-old scored 51 goals in 123 appearances for France.
