5. Storey wants swift Sunderland conclusion
Prospective Sunderland buyer Willaim Storey has urged for a conclusion to the club’s takeover. He tweeted: “In my opinion it is in the interests of all stakeholders, fans, staff, players, sponsors, current owners & prospective owners that a conclusion is reached quickly. 6. Cobblers sign Bolger
Northampton Town have completed a key signing ahead of the new season with the arrival of Cian Bolger. The defender has been signed on a one-year-deal having left Lincoln City.

7. Posh near Broom deal
Peterborough United are close to securing a significant signing ahead of the new season. A six-figure fee has reportedly been agreed with Cheltenham Town for Ryan Broom. The midfielder hit eight goals in 34 appearances in League Two last season. (Gloucester Live)

8. Bowyer's recruitment concern
Lee Bowyer has opened up on the difficulties at Charlton Athletic in the transfer market. The Addicks are currently working under a partial EFL embargo, limiting wages to £1.3k-a-week. Bowyer noted there are non-league players are earning more. (various)
