Leeds United suffer Snodgrass blow
Leeds United star Robert Snodgrass has been sidelined after undergoing appendix surgery.
The Scotland international went under the knife on Thursday.
Leeds manager Simon Grayson said: “It wasn’t something that was planned, but we were hoping to keep it quiet until after the team sheets had been exchanged at Barnsley in order not to alert our opponents.
“We’re not putting any timescale on things, but hopefully he won’t be absent for too long a period.”
Snodgrass has scored eight goals in 22 league appearances this season.
