Leeds United’s Twitter ban lifted

LEEDS UNITED players have been told they can return to the social networking site Twitter after a ban imposed by former manager Simon Grayson was lifted.

Grayson, who was sacked last week after three years in charge of the club, had banned all of his players from using Twitter after striker Davide Somma revealed the full extent of a knee injury to his followers before it had been officially announced by the club.

Defender Alex Bruce was the first to break the enforced silence when he announced his return to his followers and also that of Adam Clayton.

Billy Davies, Neil Warnock and Dave Jones are currently the bookmakers’ favourites to replace Grayson but caretaker boss Neil Redfearn’s odds have tumbled to 5-1 following Saturday’s victory over Bristol City.
