Second signing in a day as Leeds nab Derby’s Paul Green

LEEDS UNITED have made a second signing in 24 hours after agreeing a two-year deal with Derby County midfielder Paul Green.

The 29-year-old will formally move to Elland Road on a free transfer when his Rams’ deal runs out later this month and be ready to join up with the rest of the United squad when they return back for pre-season training on July 4.

Green, who played against Leeds for Doncaster Rovers in the 2008 League One play-off final, has been away with the Republic of Ireland squad at Euro 2012.
