Leeds United and Huddersfield Town games moved for television

If Leeds United do clinch promotion back to the Premier League after 16 years away, the game it happens in seems certain to be shown on television after the latest batch of matches were announced.

The Whites are six points ahead of third-placed Brentford, and two in front of West Bromwich Albion with four matches to play, and look well placed to return to the top flight for the first time since 2004.

Sunday's game at Swansea City is no longer being broadcast to allow Sky Sports to be at Thursday's match against Barnsley, and the trip to Derby County, which has now been moved to 2pm on July 19 for broadcast.

Two wins and a draw will secure promotion but it could come sooner if there are slip-ups from their rivals.

West Bromwich Albion's trip to Huddersfield Town has been moved to July 17 for live television coverage, with the game kicking off at 5.30pm. It will be the Terriers' second consecutive Friday night TV game after the match against bottom-of-the-table Luton Town.

Brentford's July 18 trip to Stoke City will also now be shown live.

For Leeds to win promotion at Derby's Pride Park would be particularly sweet as it was the Rams who denied them promotion last year, knocking them out after a dramatic play-off semi-final.

Huddersfield are two points above the relegation zone going into the match against Luton, but it would effectively be five if Wigan Athletic's 12-point deduction for going into administration is applied. The Latics have appealed.

The season concludes on July 22, with all matches kicking-off at 7.30pm.
