There is just over a week left for Marcelo Bielsa and Leeds United to conclude their transfer business for the 2020/21 season, or at least until the January transfer window opens. This weekend presents another opportunity for managers to analyse their squad and decide on where needs work.
With the window entering the final week, Premier League clubs will continue to be linked with a host of deals. Some will be likely, some will be possible, many will be wide off the mark such is the nature of the football rumour mill.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is nearing a significant piece of summer business. The Gunners have placed a £32million bid for Lyon star Houssem Aouar. The midfielder has been a key target for Arteta with Lucas Torreira heading to Atletico Madrid. The Gunners are also believed to be interested in Thomas Partey from Atletico. (RMC)
Brighton are set to pip Italian side Parma to the signing of striker Andi Zeqiri. The 21-year-old Swiss U21 international is wanted by teams around Europe after impressing with Lausanne in his homeland. The former Juventus starlet hit 22 goals in 37 appearances last season. (Various)
Burnley have rejected a £30million bid from Leicester City for centre-back James Tarkowski. The 27-year-old England international has already been the subject of three bids from West Ham United. (BBC)
Leeds United are set to miss out on Argentine attacking midfielder Rodrigo De Paul. The 26-year-old international is seen as a key target for Marcelo Bielsa but Italian club Udinese are standing firm with their €35-40million valuation. (Messaggero Veneto)
Aston Villa have joined the race for Nice midfielder Wylan Cyprien. The 25-year-old is a reported target of Newcastle United’s and could cost as little as €10m. He averages around goal every five games for Nice. (Sky Sports)
Sheffield United are reportedly not keen on matching Liverpool’s £25m valuation for target Rhian Brewster. The striker, who is also interesting Crystal Palace, is keen on a switch to the Blades after a successful loan stint with Swansea City last season. The Premier League champions are also keen for a buy-back clause to be inserted in any deal. (Daily Mail)
Dan James could be a serious Leeds United target before the transfer window closes. With the move for Rodrigo De Paul stalling and lack of fresh bid for Rangers’ Ryan Kent, Marcelo Bielsa could see James as the key target. (The Athletic)
Burnley are set to conclude a deal for Liverpool starlet Harry Wilson for between £15-20million. The Anfield club are keen to recoup significant funds after signing Diogo Jota, Thiago Alcantara and Konstantinos Tsimikas. (Liverpool.com)
Steve Bruce admits he has to move on one or two players before adding to his Newcastle United squad. One of those players could be DeAndre Yedlin with the team consisting of three right-backs. Bruce reckons the player will decide his future in the coming days. (Various)
Teun Koopmeiners is interesting Leeds united as Marcelo Bielsa looks to strengthen the midfielder ahead of the transfer window closing. The Dutch U21 international is rated at around £10m by AZ. (Telegraph)
