Premier League net spend table revealed for Leeds United, Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man United, Spurs and Chelsea

Manchester United and Chelsea were the biggest spenders in the summer transfer window, with their total expenditure and net spend both coming in at over £200m.

West Ham, Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur also saw their net spending this window pass the £100m mark while only three clubs – Brighton, Man City and Leicester City – made a profit.

Pep Guardiola spent £125.55m bettering his squad, with all of that income generated through sales of £143.91m.

Leeds United came close to breaking even during the summer window, with the Elland Road outfit spending just shy of £100m in Jesse Marsch’s first transfer window as head coach.

The sales of Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha, to Manchester City and Barcelona respectively, generated the majority of income for the Whites this campaign.

Liverpool also came close to making profit in the latest window, with their net spend totalling just over £8.5m.
