Liam Rosenior bemoans Hull City decision-making after lacklustre defeat to Stoke City
The Tigers were fancied to overcome the Potters but did not muster a single shot on target in a lacklustre performance. Their lack of cutting edge was punished in the second half, when Josh Laurent and Ki-Jana Hoever struck for the visitors.
Speaking after the game, Rosenior said: "Some of our decision-making in the final third, [we] got there again numerous times, just a lack of killer instinct. We didn't have a shot on target. We get there so many times and don't pull the trigger, or make the wrong decision.

We got let down by both boxes today and that's really disappointing.”
Hull had a plethora of attacking talent on the pitch, starting with Jaden Philogene, Fabio Carvalho and Anass Zaroury behind frontman Noah Ohio. The likes of Ozan Tufan and Billy Sharp entered the fray from the bench but could not give the hosts the late boost they craved.
Rosenior said: “Flat, I think is the word. We had a three-week period where we said as a group that we were really looking forward to this game. It didn't look like it - we weren't anywhere near our level. In possession, in terms of our energy, in terms of our press.
"When you don't play to your level, what you have to do, you have to keep the back door shut. You have to try and nick wins and the best teams in this league do that. They don't play at their best and they find a way to win. We found a way to lose today.”
