Jordan Cousins’ goal with seven minutes remaining looked at have sealed all three points, only for Danny Ward’s injury time strike to rescue a point for the visitors.

Rotherham assistant manager Paul Raynor believed his side were denied a certain penalty, when a handball decision was not given against defender Andre Bikey.

“They say things even themselves out over the season, and we are going to get some penalties if that is the case,” he said.

“The handball is absolutely blatant, sometimes it is difficult to see from the dugout but there was no guesswork today.

Charlton created some opportunities, they looked dangerous on the break, they do sit in and hit you on the counter attack.

“But I do think we dominated proceedings, we looked dangerous ourselves and as the game went on we created a number of opportunities.”
