Notts County v Rotherham United: Evans looks to profit from County’s record

Last Saturday’s defeat to Brentford was the seventh time that the Magpies have been beaten on home soil in league and cup competitions this term, a record that contrasts sharply with the club’s record on the road – it is 21 matches since the Magpies last suffered defeat on their travels.

That fine away record includes a 1-1 draw at the New York Stadium at the start of the month to set up tonight’s delayed FA Cup second round replay, during which Rotherham manager Steve Evans is hoping to pile on the pressure for County.
