Rotherham United 0 Hereford 0: Scott debut ends in Millers draw

A Don Valley Stadium debut for new Rotherham manager Andy Scott ended in frustration as the Millers failed to close the gap on the League Two play-offs.

Scott was without defender Johnny Mullins (knee) for his first match in charge. Goalkeeper Andy Warrington was out with a foot injury so Jamie Annerson continued between the posts.

Tom Pope and Ryan Taylor both went close, before Ryan Cresswell saw a header cleared off the line as the home side pushed for an opener.

The Bulls also went close to taking the lead when Joe Colbeck fired a shot against the upright.

However neither side were able to find a winner at the Don Valley Stadium and had to settle for a point each.
