Salford 2 Bradford City 0 - Bantams told they are playing for their jobs
Two fine individual strikes from Ashley Hunter consigned them to a fifth straight away loss and left them four points adrift of the play-offs.

“You play for your livelihood if you have a contract or not. That’s not a knee-jerk reaction or a threat but you’re playing for your careers in football.”
Hunter, on loan from Fleetwood, made it four goals in the last three games with two strikes from outside the area, the first after 10 minutes and the second shortly after half-time.
It earned Graham Alexander’s side their first victory at the Peninsula Stadium in seven games and kept alive their hopes of a late play-off push in League Two.

“We have all to take responsibility. I have to take responsibility for picking the team but it is a collective responsibility.
“It is going to be difficult to pick a side that deserve to be playing on Saturday. All the shirts are back up for grabs.
“While there are still things to play for we will never throw in the towel but we need far better performances than that.”
