Nigel Clough saw his Sheffield United clinch a scrappy 1-0 win away at relegation rivals Bristol City.
It took an own goal from Aden Flint in the 78th minute to hand all three points to the visitors, who leapfrog City at the bottom of the table.
There was bad news for United though, as defender Harry Maguire picked up his fifth booking of the season which merits a one-game ban.
