Crawley Town 0 Sheffield United 2: McMahon nets double for Blades

Sheffield United can go top of League One today with victory over Crawley if other results go their way.

Kevin McDonald trained on Thursday after picking up an injury at Carlisle but played today. Striker Dave Kitson made his return from a hamstring injury last week and came in for Chris Porter. Crawley’s former Blades defender Kyle McFadzean is due to have a scan as he continues his recovery from a virus, so did not feature.

Tony McMahon fired the Blades in front on 29 minutes, before the right-back doubled their advantage in the second half.
