Sheffield United return on course after one more Premier League coronavirus case

Sheffield United remain on course for a June 17 return after another encouraging set of coronavirus tests, but there is still no fixture list confirmed yet.

It has been suggested the Blades could kick off the first day back, with their match at Aston Villa starting at 6pm, but as yet there has been no confirmation from the broadcasters about how matches will be divided up between Sky Sports, BT Sports, Amazon Prime and the BBC.

Some have suggested it may not come until next week, leaving little time for logistical arrangements.

Testing, though, is proceeding well, with Tottenham Hotspur producing the only positive result from the latest round of 1,197 tests of players and staff.

That takes the total number of positive results from the twice-weekly tests up to 13 from 5,079. None have yet come from Sheffield United.
