Southampton 3 Sheffield United 1 - player ratings

Sheffield United's brilliant season ended in three straight defeats as they were beaten at St Mary's.

The Blades had the better of the first half, but ultimately ran out of legs, as they have done in the season as a whole.

To finish ninth in their first season back in the Premier League was a brilliant achievement, and it was only a pity they could not finish on more of a high.
