Wilson in the frame as Sheffield United set to name new boss
The Yorkshire Post understands that Wilson is now favourite for the job vacated by Micky Adams following the club’s relegation from the Championship but that former Barnsley man Robins is also being touted.
Robins, who quit as Barnsley manager two weeks ago, has been interviewed twice by Blades directors in the last seven days but Wilson’s experience is seen as key to bringing United back to the Championship at the first attempt.
