Sheffield United's Long reunited with Adkins at Hull City

GEORGE LONG has completed his switch to Hull City from Sheffield United.

The 24-year-old becomes the Tigers’ sixth summer signing after agreeing a three year deal, with the club having the choice whether to extend by an additional 12 months.

Long will be reunited with Nigel Adkins at the KCOM Stadium after the pair worked together at Bramall Lane.

“I have known about the interest for a few weeks, so I’m excited to be here as a Hull City player now,” said Long.

“I have played under the head coach before and I really enjoyed that spell, so that was a big factor in me coming here. Hopefully I can continue to kick-on under him here.”
