Owls swoop for Derby’s Chris Maguire
SHEFFIELD Wednesday are poised to announce the signing of striker Chris Maguire from Championship rivals Derby County.
The Scottish international is currently finalising his move to Hillsborough after several weeks of negotiations.
Maguire, 23, spent six years with Aberdeen before moving to Derby two summers ago for a fee in the region of £400,000. He spent the final two months of last season on loan at Portsmouth and still has two years on his contract with the Rams so an undisclosed fee is involved.
