Scunthorpe await Sheffield Wednesday bid for Jones
SCUNTHORPE manager Alan Knill expects Sheffield Wednesday to rekindle their interest in defender Rob Jones.
Jones played eight times during a successful loan spell at Hillsborough at the end of the season and Knill is anticipating a formal bid for the 31-year-old.
Knill said: “He’s done really well there, so I would expect some interest.
“The indication is that they are quite happy with him, so I would expect us to have some sort of communication with Sheffield Wednesday.”
