Sheffield Wednesday's greater understanding adding to unpredictability, says Danny Rohl
Friday night's visit of Leeds United is a serious test of the relegation-threatened Championship side but there is no question they are on an upward trajectory after an awful start to the campaign, initially under Xisco Munoz’s management.
Had the season started when Rohl's early groundwork began to bear fruit, on November 29, they would be in the play-off places.

Hide AdListening to him talk about how his players are now in tune with one another, it makes sense that he lost five of his first six games whilst getting his ideas across.
"I think it is a strength that we have, a group of young players with experienced ones and our game management is very helpful," he said. "As a team we understand better what we have to do in some situations. There's an improvement from each game and you learn from every defeat and every win.
"This makes us very strong."
It also makes them hard to play against, he believes.
"It was a great experience for my team in recent weeks when we've been able to find a good balance between high pressing, sometimes staying compact and some quick ball possessions, other times when we find long target areas (by playing more direct)," he reflected. "And I think it is difficult for opponents to prepare for us because they do not know what happens. This is good.
"Our supporters want to see aggressive football, fight on the pitch, I think those are the basics.

"I heard there's never been a team with so few points at the bottom of the table (their three after 13 games was a Championship record. It shows a lot about the quality of the league."
