EXPECT a flurry of transfer activity among Yorkshire clubs before the loan window closes this week.

Former Bradford City manager Stuart McCall has also landed the Scunthorpe United job following the sacking of Nick Daws on Friday after just five games in charge.

Sheffield United want to take Boro’s former West Ham striker Ashley Fletcher, 22, who was loaned to Sunderland last season.

The Blades also have Aston Villa’s Scott Hogan on their radar.

Hull City are interested in Fleetwood Town defender Cian Bolger, 26, and Swindon Town striker Michael Doughty, 25.

Sheffield Wednesday are still aiming to sign Chelsea duo striker Lucas Piazon and central defender Michael Hector, who was on loan at Hull last season.

Yeovil are set to sign Bradford City striker Omari Patrick on loan but Bantams coach Michael Collins is more concerned with strengthening his squad and is particularly keen to recruit a central midfield player.
