HUDDERSFIELD TOWN are being linked with a summer swoop for Club Brugge winger Anthony Limbombe, according to reports in Belgium.
The 23-year-old - reportedly on the radar of Town’s Yorkshire rivals Leeds United in summers of 2015 and 2016 - joined Brugge in the 2016 close season and has impressed for the Jupiler League outfit, scoring seven goals and contributing 12 assists in 67 appearances in all competitions.
Limbombe, who is comfortable on either flank, is rated in the £7m bracket.
Meanwhile, reports in Italy suggest that Leeds are close to signing Capri striker Jerry Mbakogu in a mooted £2.6m deal.
Mbakogu initially went to the Serie B side on loan from Padova for the 2013-14 season, before joining them on a permanent basis at the end of that campaign.

Sheffield United are holding preliminary talks with several transfer targets.
The Blades are being strongly linked with a move for former loan keeper Jamal Blackman, with his Chelsea team-mate Kasey Palmer being another player on their radar.
New forward additions and a centre-half are also on the club’s summer shopping list.

“We know what we want and we know what is out there. We have been working on this for quite a while, it’s not thrown together at the last minute.”
Bradford City are chasing former left-back Greg Leigh - now at Bury - but the clubs are yet to agree a fee.
