York City 2 Luton Town 3: Minstermen rocked by late Luton winner

YORK CITY's survival hopes were dealt a hammer blow as Olly Lee's 92nd-minute winner gave Luton Town a dramatic 3-2 victory at Bootham Crescent.

After a goalless first half, Cameron McGeehan gave the Hatters a 52nd-minute lead but Bradley Fewster levelled for the Minstermen ten minutes later.

Jack Marriott then put Luton back in front with 16 minutes left but Fewster’s second goal of the game just eight minutes later looked to have sealed York a point.

Lee, though, had other ideas and struck deep in injury time, with York staying second-bottom and having played three games more than third-bottom Hartlepool United who are two points above them.
