York City’s Blue Square Premier match at Grimsby Town has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Grimsby had appealed for supporters to come down to the ground from 7am to help clear snow off the pitch.
But the game was unplayable and joined a long list of sporting events decimated by the winter weather.
