Rotherham United draw but York’s unbeaten run ends

Rotherham United climbed up to fifth in League One after earning a 2-2 draw at home to Crawley.

The Millers needed a Kieran Agard goal six minutes into added time to snatch a draw at the New York Stadium.

On-loan striker Matt Tubbs - who had spent time with the Millers earlier this season - put the visitors ahead.

Midfielder Agard equalised with penalty but Josh Simpson restored Crawley’s lead midway through the half only for Agard to have the final say.

In League Two, York City lost their first game of 2014 as Hartlepool’s 2-0 win saw them overtake their opponents with goals from Luke James and Jack Barmby - the son of former England international Nicky - in the last eight minutes.
