Team news: Doncaster Rovers, Sheffield United, Bradford City v York City, Rotherham United

With the Championship out of action this weekend due to the international break, only five Yorkshire teams are in action. Log on here for team news from your club.

League One

Hartlepool United v Doncaster Rovers

Team news: Shelton Martis (hamstring) and Paul Quinn (groin), who missed the midweek encounter against Chesterfield, should be fit for today’s encounter, while Gary Woods, who had an infection in his finger ahead of the Spireites game, is also okay. Iain Hume is on international duty with Canada – Jamie McCombe is on the long-term injured list – and Saunders has admitted that the performance of midweek ‘super-sub’ Ball has given him ‘food for thought’ ahead of this afternoon’s game, especially with his loan striker out.

Sheffield United v Oldham Athletic

Team news: Neill Collins remains a doubt with a foot injury, with Danny Wilson monitoring the fitness of loan striker John Cofie. United are set to be without goalkeeper Mark Howard (thigh) for up to 12 weeks. Teenager George Long is set to deputise but forward Paul Gallagher has left after failing to sort a loan extension.

League Two

Bradford City v York City

Team news: Bradford will be without defender Rory McArdle after he was called up to the Northern Ireland squad. Fellow defender Luke Oliver (hip) is a doubt while full-back Stephen Darby could retain his place.

York City boss Gary Mills may make changes to the side that fell to a disappointing 4-0 defeat by Coventry in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy. Striker James Walker and defender Chris Doig are slight doubts with knocks picked up in that match.

Rotherham United v Southend United

Team news: David Noble is vying with Jason Taylor and Mark Bradley to step into the shoes of Kari Arnason, on international duty with Iceland. Alex Revell serves the final game of his three-match ban, with Daniel Nardiello back in contention for United. Rotherham boss Steve Evans serves the last of his six-match stadium ban.
