Cheetham stands firm to clinch title

Neil Cheetham won the Yorkshire PGA Championship at Willow Valley.

The 43-year-old from Sheffield, who plays primarily on the Sunshine Tour in South Africa and represents the Johannesburg Golf Club, posted a total of 146 after adding a 74 yesterday to his first round 72.

That 18-hole total had given him a two-stroke lead over the field, which he retained after the second round yesterday.
