North Ribblesdale moved ahead of Selby in mid-table when they held on for a 22-16 home victory despite the visitors being camped on their line for most of the last 20 minutes.

Ribblesdale had taken the lead after just four minutes with a try from No 8 Ryan Kirkbride and, after Sam Morgan had kicked a penalty for Selby, home flanker Chris Heap crossed for another try. Morgan pulled back a second penalty before second row Tom Clay crashed over for a try which Steve Moon converted.

Selby centre Shaun Austerfield brought the score back to 17-11 at half-time, and the only scores of the second half were tries by replacement Michael Carr for Ribblesdale and centre Martin Protheroe for the visitors.

Keighley ran in eight tries in their 55-22 victory over Bridlington, with centre Mario Frrazzano and winger Sam Walker both scoring two tries, while Alex Brown kicked five conversions and a penalty.
