Just on the stroke of half-time, Jay Bothroyd gave Cardiff City the lead against Sheffield United.

But the Blades battled back and Stephen Quinn equalised on 67 minutes to earn a point.

Sheffield Wednesday delighted their fans when Eddie Nolan's 56th-minute goal gave them the lead at Hillsborough after a goalless first half against Watford.

However, the advantage was cancelled out within 11 minutes as Tom Cleverley equalised for the visitors.

Wednesday restored their lead with just a minute of normal time remaining, Luke Varney on the mark, and the goal gave the Owls three vital points.
