Millers eye hat-trick of league wins

ROTHERHAM United are seeking to complete a hat-trick of league victories for the first time in six months.

The Millers travel to Burton Albion today buoyed by success in their last two games against Southend United and Accrington Stanley.

Another victory today could move the club level on points with Oxford United who currently occupy the final spot in the League Two play-off zone.

“We are not getting carried away,” stressed manager Andy Scott. “We have been here before, thinking everything was going well, and then had a bit of a fall.

“We always knew we had ability but the benchmark was how hard the players worked for each other. In the last two games, we have shown that and there is now a realisation that it works.”

Striker Shaun Harrad, who has scored two goals in two games since joining the Millers on loan from Bury, spent six years with Burton and played a major role in the club’s elevation into the Football League.
