The International Cricket Council have decided that New Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium is “unfit” to host any international cricket this year.

An ICC investigation was convened following the abandonment of a one-day international between India and Sri Lanka at the ground on December 27 due to concerns over the unpredictable nature of the pitch.

As part of that investigation the governing body formalised an undertaking from the Board of Control for Cricket in India that that there would be no top-level cricket at the venue in 2010, but the ICC remain committed to helping the ground take its place on the roster for the 2011 World Cup.
