Pontypridd 11 Doncaster Knights 24: Unbeaten Doncaster see off Pontypridd's cup challenge

Doncaster Knights made it four wins in four in this year's inaugural British & Irish Cup and booked their place in the semi-finals by beating Pontypridd at Sardis Road.

After James Brooks had missed an early penalty for the Knights, their first try came shortly after with Andy Boyde crashing over from close range.

Flanker Adam Kettle got the Knights second, finishing off a forwards drive, Brooks converted both, but Pontypridd grabbed a try of their own before half time as Nathan Strong scored after receiving Matthew Hutching's kick.

Knights winger Dougie Flockhart scored his side's third try either side of two Kristian Baller penalties.

With the gap between the sides eight points Steve Lawrie scored the winning try in the 74th minute after another good drive by the Doncaster pack.
